 The range of our Plucked Psaltery is the same as an -f- Bass Recorder:  from -f- to -g"- (two octaves plus one tone). 

The frame is made of rosewood, the back of cherry or walnut, and the sounding board of quarter-sawn Sitka spruce. All strings are bronze-wound over a steel core. The sound is rich and strong. The Psaltery is held in the arm and can be played with a pick, or plucked with one or more fingers for playing melodies or chords. 
The price includes a tuning key and three "Spare Strings". (Only three gauges of strings are needed for the entire instrument)  A hardcase or cloth-cover are available.
