From Asheville, NC
Take I-40 West to exit 27 (US 19/23/74) towards Waynesville. Stay on 23/74 towards Waynesville/Sylva. Take exit 81 (US 23/441) south towards Franklin. In Franklin US 441 merges with US 64 West. Stay on 64 West from Franklin towards Hayesville. Eight miles past Hayesville, turn left onto Settawig Road (there will be a sign for the John C. Campbell Folk School). Settawig road ends in downtown Brasstown. At the stop sign turn right and after about 200 yards take the first left turn over the Brasstown River bridge. Follow Brasstown Road through the Folk School campus on your left and right. After about a half mile look for Folkschool Road and make a left turn. Follow the Kelischek Music signs to our shop. Total driving time from Asheville is approximately two and a half hours.
From Greenville, SC
Take I-85 South towards Atlanta. Take exit 19B (US 76W/SC-28W) towards Clemson. SC-28 becomes US-123S/US-76 W. Turn right onto GA-17/GA 515 crossing into North Carolina. GA-17/GA-515 becomes NC-69. In Hayesville, turn Left onto highway 64. Eight miles past Hayesville, turn left onto Settawig Road (there will be a sign for the John C. Campbell Folk School). From Atlanta, GA
Take I-75 north to 575, which turns into 515/5 (Zell Miller Highway). Approximately 5 miles past Blue Ridge, turn left on GA 60. Follow GA 60 for 3 miles to Mineral Bluff. Turn right on Spur 60 and follow to US 64. Turn right (East) on 64 to Murphy. At Murphy you will cross a bridge over the Hiwassee river. At the end of the bridge there is an intersection with stop lights. Turn right following US 64 East towards Hayesville for approximately 4 miles. Turn right on Old 64 (there will be a sign for the John C. Campbell Folk School). In approximately 1.5 miles you will be in Brasstown. Turn right at 'Clay's Corner'. Follow Brasstown Road through the Folk School campus on your left and right. After about a half mile look for Folkschool Road and make a left turn. Follow the Kelischek Music signs to our shop. Total driving time from Atlanta is approximately two and a half hours.
From Chattanooga, TN
Take I-75 north to exit 20, Cleveland (TN) bypass. Take the US 64 East bypass around Cleveland to US 64. Follow 64 through Ocoee to Murphy, NC. At Murphy you will cross a bridge over the Hiwassee river. At the end of the bridge there is an intersection with stop lights. Turn right following US 64 East towards Hayesville for approximately 4 miles. Turn right on Old 64 (there will be a sign for the John C. Campbell Folk School). After 1.5 miles you will be in Brasstown. Turn right at 'Clay's Corner'. Follow Brasstown Road through the Folk School campus on your left and right. After about a half mile look for Folkschool Road and make a left turn. Follow the Kelischek Music signs to our shop. Total driving time from Chattanooga is approximately two hours.
From Knoxville, TN
I-75 south to exit 60 in Sweetwater, TN. Take TN 68 towards Turtletown. Turn sharply left on TN 123 which becomes NC 294. Turn left on US 64 East to Murphy.
