Plucked Psalteries
Plucked Psalteries are arm-held, or placed on the table or lap for playing. The pitch is one octave lower than the sound of bowed psalteries. The frame is made of solid rosewood the back is cherry or walnut, and the sounding board is made of quartersawn Sitka spruce. A "Star of David" rosette is carved into the top. Silk-screened lettering and borders add nice decor. The plucked psaltery plays melodies or chords easily. A tuning key is included in the price.
