Folkcraft FSH dulcimers are handcrafted in the USA, and made with your choice of black walnut, northern cherry, or hickory. The hourglass body option gives a good balance between the treble and bass notes. The black walnut creates a fat, mellow tone with great resonance. When you play with force, there tends to be a stronger 'punchy' sound produced. Select our northern cherry which creates a bright, full sound that has slight ringing overtones. Try the hickory for a beautiful instrument with unique sound.
This model is made of Hickory, has a scroll peg head, vine heart tone holes, and is 27 inches in length. Includes a carrying bag, noter and pick.
