By Sylvia Woods. Companion CD to the 'Pachelbel Canon' and 'Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring' books. The purpose of this CD is to assist harp players learning these pieces. Since many players will want to “play along” with the CD as they are learning, Sylvia has recorded them slower than they are usually played, and as “straight” as possible, with little or no expression or rhythmic variations.
The Canon was recorded at a metronome marking of 92, and Jesu at 100. The three versions of the Canon are played first in the original key of D, and then in the key of -G-. You can play the Advanced Harp Solo along with the Easy Harp Solo on the CD.
