Wren Hammered Dulcimers are excellent beginners instruments at an affordable price. This model has a 13/12 configuration with sound hole inserts. The frames are made of maple and walnut, with solid mahogany sounding boards and backs. All woods are nicely laquered, but left in their natural colors. The instruments are made in Missouri by Rick Thum. A string-gauge chart, a pair of hammers and a tuning wrench are included in the price.
