(Dulcimer only) This larger (16/15) version of our popular and affordable Prelude model is built with laminated birch soundboard and back. Exceptionally sturdy and stable, it offers a sweet, balanced sound over its three-octave range. Extending the standard 2-1/2 octave range downward, this instrument opens up a wider choice of playing keys and affords greater versatility in arranging melodies and harmonies.
Multiple coats of golden hued laquer give this model a distinctive and beautiful look, setting off the natural color mahogany bridges and black and white Delrin position markers. The rails are of cherry wood, the top and back are made of Finland birch plywood.
